How can I thicken my crock pot chicken tacos?

I have some chicken in the crock pot I want to use for corn tortilla tacos. I just did chicken, taco seasoning and some locally jarred salsa. On low heat, it smells great and chicken is shredding on its own but I do think this salsa was a bit on the runny side and the whole recipe seems very watery. I would rather not have it extremely runny on my tortillas. Is there anything I can do to thicken it up? If I made rice and put it in the pot would it help?
