How do I roast frogen vegetables?

It seems like an easy thing to do but whenever I try roasting frozen veggies (specifically carrots, brocoli and cauliflower), I can't get the browning I want without the vegetable getting too soft. I would buy fresh but groceries are getting super expensive these days. I usually oil my veggies with EVOO before putting them on a baking sheet without overcrowding and roast in the oven. They are never browned at all and if I try upping the temperature the edges burn before a good browning happens. Should I thaw them in water and strain? Or change the position of the grates in the oven? Any input appreciated. submitted by /u/techtonik25 [link] [comments]
