How does adding anchovies to a sauce affect its shelf life?

I am swapping out my meal prep recipes because I'm sick of the old ones. I was going to add in a simple garlic pasta, but the recipe calls for anchovies. I'm not anchovy averse at all, but I'm hoping the final product lasts for 4-7 days in the fridge. Would adding the anchovies shorten the time the dish stays good in the fridge?
