I was making beef nihari and adding some boxed beef stock to my dutch oven when out pops a disgusting moldy blob. Is my beef nihari ruined or will it still be edible after 6 hours in the oven?

The question is self explanatory but I thought I'd elaborate. I am following this recipe from Ethan Chlebowski. I was substituting water for some beef stock since I figured it would enhance flavor. I was casually dumping out some boxed beef stock (expiration 2022) and out pops this disgusting moldy blob that was congealed to the stock right in the middle of shank. I stopped immediately and just contemplated life. submitted by /u/BurgerKing_Lover [link] [comments]
