Is it safe to dry fruit near the fireplace for several days?
I have dried apples near the fireplace, leaving the slices in on a rack for several days, not in a container. The dried apples taste normal, but I’m wondering if they would be on the way to rotting after being out in the open for 3-7 days. I’m wondering if they are safe to eat. Some more info: no preservatives/lemon juice were used; apples look brown but otherwise normal; apples taste and smell normal too. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Maleficent-Future648 [link] [comments]
