Is there some trick to making chestnuts easily peelable?
Whenever I make chestnuts, a large % of them have to be thrown out because they end up unpeelable. Either the inner skin still sticks to them and is very hard to peel off or when you tear the outer skin apart the halves of the nut stay stuck inside instead of coming out in one whole.
