What are the dimensions of a 7 rib prime rib and is an air frier capable of cooking it properly?

Hi r/AskCulinary! I’m hoping to make a 7 rib prime rib roast for a large Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, because I am also preparing a ham and several sides, my oven will have no space for the roast. Additionally, I’d have to cook the roast at 500 degrees then let it sit in the oven for 2 hours. There’s just no way I can make that work with my other cook times and temps. I do have a decent sized air frier available and want to see if the roast will fit inside. but I can’t find the actual dimensions of the meat in inches anywhere! Every google result is just the weight. Does anyone know the average dimensions of a prime rib roast? Will the roast cook properly in an air frier that is on the “bake” setting? P.S. Any tips you may have for cooking for 20 people are also appreciated! I’m currently scheduling my cook times and determining what prep I can do the day before. submitted by /u/themonkery [link] [comments]
